Private Universities Chart New Course in International Partnerships

Education and building educational bridges are always at the heart of what Hunter Global Education does. Accordingly, we are proud to be one of the sponsors to support the second Council of Independent Colleges’ U.S.-Mexico Higher Education Summit hosted in Chicago, Illinois, April 24–27, 2019.

The Summit emphasized the importance of international exchange in today’s political climate and extended a warm invitation to build relationships beyond walls.

At Hunter, we have developed deep relationships and networks in the past decades and are the firm believers in building relationships rather than walls. We believe shared values and respect for one-another will provide a better and peaceful tomorrow.

We had the opportunities to extend warm welcome to our Mexican guests and to share our passion for building international partnerships. Speakers at the Summit included Roberta S. Jacobson, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico; Antonio Cuesta, Acting Consul General of Mexico in Chicago; Margaret B. Hug, Director of Regional Education Initiatives for the U.S. Department of State; and Rebeca Vargas, president and CEO-- U.S.-Mexico Leaders Network. It was great to meet amazing people dedicated to supporting international educational initiatives in an effort to promote peace between nations and a better life for all.
