With more than four decades of executive leadership experience, including twenty years as President of Benedictine University, Dr. Carroll guided one of the most remarkable growth stories in American higher education. During his presidency, enrollment increased from approximately 1,400 to more than 10,000 students, earning national recognition from The Chronicle of Higher Education as one of the fastest-growing universities in the United States.
His leadership experience also includes helping guide the resurgence of Saint Joseph's College of Indiana, supporting the institution's strategic renewal with a focus on innovation, financial sustainability, workforce development, and community impact.
